Allowance Split Calculator

Split 1,000 EUR of allowance properly

Several banks, one allowance. Enter your expected investment income and see which amount belongs to which bank — and how much allowance would otherwise expire.

A suggestion based on your estimate. A Freistellungsauftrag always covers all accounts and portfolios at one bank.

Allowance fully used — that saves €263.75 in tax.

Distributing the maximum of €1,000.00.

What matters

Three things that make the allowance expensive

All three cost real money even though the allowance was available.

Only one bank instructed

Filing the full amount with a single bank means paying tax from the first euro at every other bank — even while the allowance sits unused.

Too much at the wrong bank

An allowance at a bank paying 50 EUR of interest is worth 50 EUR — the other 950 EUR expire at year end. That is why it is split by expected income, not evenly.

It applies per bank

A Freistellungsauftrag always covers every account and portfolio at one institution. Splitting it between two portfolios at the same bank is not possible at all.
